Despite the whirlwind feel that accompanies the end of the school year, the 2024 spring athletics season at Nobles brimmed with success for teams at all levels. Congratulations to the spring athletic teams on their impressive achievements.

Boys Varsity Baseball
Overall Record: 6–13
ISL Record: 5–9
Highlight: Boys varsity baseball beat Middlesex 9–0 in the first-ever ISL playoff game for Nobles baseball.
Boys Varsity Crew
Overall Record: 125-33
NEIRA Record: 111-18
Highlight: Boys crew medaled in all four boats at the NEIRA Championship (one gold and three silver) and ranked second in overall team points. In the post-season competition, the first boat placed 16th at the US Rowing Youth National Championship in Sarasota, Florida.
Girls Varsity Crew
Overall Record: 58–0
ISL Record: 36–0
Highlight: Girls varsity crew won the New England Interscholastic Championship for the second consecutive year and went undefeated across all boats in the regular season. At the final championship regatta, the first four boat won bronze, the second four boat won silver, and the third and fourth four boats both won gold.
Varsity Golf
Overall Record: 9–4
ISL Record: 9–4
Highlight: Boys varsity golf ended the season as one of the top three teams in the ISL tournament and the league overall.
Boys Varsity Lacrosse
Overall Record: 9–9
ISL Record: 7–4
Highlight: Boys varsity lacrosse finished the regular season with a 7-4 record, earning the 7th seed in the ISL playoffs.
Girls Varsity Lacrosse
Overall Record: 22–1
ISL Record: 12–0
Highlight: In addition to becoming the first girls lacrosse team in ISL history to win three consecutive league championships, the team also went undefeated in the league, with big wins over Sacred Heart-Greenwich, St. Paul’s, Andover, Exeter, and Dexter-Southfield, and secured a national ranking.
Girls Varsity Softball
Overall Record: 7–3 overall; 15–1 regular season
ISL Record: 9–0
Highlight: Undefeated in the league, girls varsity softball won the ISL championship for the second time in three years, beating both Andover (3–0) and Brooks (4–1), their only losses in 2023.
Boys Varsity Tennis
Overall Record: 15–3
ISL Record: 14–1
Highlight: The team had one of the best records in the past five years, securing a victory over Groton for the first time in several years and advancing to the semifinals of the NEPSAC tournament.
Girls Varsity Tennis
Overall Record: 12–3
ISL Record: 11–1
Highlight: The girls varsity tennis team finished as runners-up in the ISL for the second consecutive year and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Class A tournament.
Track and Field
Girls ISL Finish: 9th place with 9 points
Boys ISL Finish: 4th place with 59 points
Girls NE Finish: 9th place with 14 points
Boys NE Finish: 6th place with 51 points
Highlight: Girls track and field had their largest team ever (70 strong!), with 28 girls and 27 freshmen, outnumbering their inaugural squad of 26 members in 2019.The boys had their best finish ever at ISL’s with several first-place performances.
Fourteen records were broken this season, seven on the girls’ side and seven on the boys’ side.
